Cooking Help

December2

Daphne is a wonderful help in the kitchen.  I have learned over time that if I take the time now to show her how to really help me out doing a task, she can actually help me get things done in the future.

She loves to do the dishes, and she helps me a lot with cutting vegetables into smaller pieces using a special plastic knife I got her that keeps her from cutting herself.

I was admiring how helpful she is in the kitchen today.

I started making my own pita bread from scratch, and Daphne got really interested in helping to roll out the dough.  She is practically a pro now.

Never underestimate the help you can get in the kitchen.  It makes it so much more fun than trying to cook while the kids are doing god knows what.
