183/365 On a High

My baby is officially 1 year old now! When I was pregnant, I made it up to *sigh* almost 200 pounds. I have spent the last year nursing, running, eating well and doing anything and everything I could to try to get back to what I should look and feel like at 26 years old.

I am by no means where I want to be, but I must acknowledge that I HAVE lost 60 pounds so far, and I feel so much better.

On this particular night, I finally managed to run a 30 minute 5K, which shaves 8-10 minutes off my time from a few months ago! I felt AMAZING when I was done running. I actually couldn’t STOP running. I went outside and was dancing around as the sun set. There was a light, misty rain, and I couldn’t help but dance in the rain and enjoy everything about being alive.

This is the new fisheye lens that I got for my birthday. Isn’t it amazing?

That house behind me with the porch is our lovely little house in Carlton.
